May 17 (Sun) 9:00 ð New Moon Journaling & Yoga Nidra
The new moon is often seen as a time for letting go. We take a moment to pause and turn inward.
We begin with journaling, using a few prompts to notice what you may be ready to let go of and what you want to feel. From there, youâll find your own sankalpa, a simple intention or affirmation used in Yoga Nidra.
In the second half, we move into Yoga Nidra, where you lie down and follow a guided voice, bringing your awareness inward. Yoga Nidra is a traditional yogic practice. Through a series of steps, you enter a state of deep relaxation, between sleep and wakefulness. Planting your sankalpa in this state is said to influence your patterns and choices over time.
This is a mostly still practice. No experience needed, everyone is welcome. Please come in comfortable clothing, as you will be sitting and lying down.
